Hyde Park *Presale* (£55-£345)

from £55.00

Hyde Park was as established as a hunting ground in 1536 by King VIII when he confiscated the land from the monks. More than a century later King Charles I opened the park to the public. Hyde Park has played a central role in the life and history of London. The north east corner of the park is the last remaining ‘Speakers Corners’ in the city. Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, George Orwell and other notable figures were known to often use the area to demonstrate free speech. The tradition of protest and free speech continues at Speakers Corner today.

The drawing will be transformed into high quality Giclée prints. These use the highest-quality pigment-based inks. Giclée fine art printing achieves bold, true to life colours in exquisite detail with excellent age resistance.

All prints are on Hahnemühle Museum Etching 350gsm paper. It is an environmentally friendly paper with a tactile, natural feel. It is a natural white 100% cotton paper which guarantees archival standards. With its premium matt inkjet coating Museum Etching meets the highest industry standards regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation and image sharpness.
